Anamika is a well known name in the fashion world in India. She is one of the top fashion designers of India who started designing without any formal training. She gave her career a brilliant jumpstart by winning the Damania Fashion Awards which bought her into the limelight and helped her in climbing the steps of successful journey within no time. Her creative versatility and unique designs helped her most in standing firm in this tough and competitive market of fashion world.

Anamika worked and portrayed global designs in her collection with the main concern given to Indian art and beauty.  She uses a blend of ethnic and western in her collections that highly appeals to the fashion conscious people all over the world. Then she had seen the grand success from her shows at the Lakme India Fashion Week Grand Finale 200r and at the London Fashion Week 2005. This provided her the opportunity and exclusive contract with British major, Harrod`s after which she never looked back again.

She was also nominated for many awards in her career such as the MTV Youth Icon Awards 2003 for the Breakthrough Designer of the Year, the MTV Lycra Style Awards 2004 for the Designer of the Year and the F Awards for the Designer of the Year (Women – Pret), 2004.
