Fort Bragg on Friday welcomed members of the Indian army for a training exercise on Pike Field. Soldiers from the Indian Army, the 82nd Airborne Division's 1st Brigade Combat Team and the California Army National Guard will train together through May 17.  Participating from the Indian Army are the 99th Mechanized Infantry Battalion,2/5th Gorkha Rifles and their airborne unit.

Applying for Armed Forces

If you are a candidate and are seeking admission to the examination for Armed Forces, you should apply to the secretary, Union Public Service Commission.

Candidates who are serving in the Armed Forces are also required to submit their application form to their Commanding officer who will then forward this to the higher Commission.

Candidates qualifying the examination appear in the final merit list and are required to provide their latest address to Army HQ.

The examination for the service of Armed Forces held’s two times in a year. It is necessary to indicate the sequence of your preference for the Army, Air Force and Navy at the time of filling in the application form.

Educational Qualification and Eligibility for Armed Forces
