Rohit Bal is one of the top fashion designers of India. Rohit has descended the breathtaking beauty of the valleys of Paradise on Earth, Kashmir into his ingenious clothesline that can translate any personality into a fashion statement owing to sheer fantasy he weaves in his fabrics.

Rohit’s rendezvous with fashion started upon joining his elder brother’s export firm after graduating in History from St. Stephens College. He diligently mastered the art of cloth making over there, strengthening his hold over the entire spectrum of it ranging from cutting, stitching to dyeing.

This continued for 8 long years after which he opted for the New Delhi’s National Institute of Fashion Technology to have his skills stropped further.

Rohit’s ingress into the fashion fraternity started when Rohit Khosla entrusted him with his stepping show in 1989 for Mumbai’s ensemble. The unorthodox Rohit etched his presence among the top fashion designers of India with the launch of his label in December of 1989.

Times Magazine bestowed him with the title of ‘India’s Master of fabric and fantasy’. He is the Indian face endorsing Omega watches and has designed the credit card for ABN AMRO.
